Katie passed peacefully into the loving arms of her Lord Jesus Christ at Heritage Village, Chilliwack, with family at her side. Left to cherish her memory are John, her devoted husband of 71 years and children John (Ruth), Gordon (Sandy), Benjamin, Blondina Enns, Victor (Linda), Bruno (Lorraine) and Clarence (Susan), 19 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Katie’s life was full and courageous; her generous and loving ways touched and enriched many lives.
There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 10:15 am at Greendale Cemetery, 44675 Watson Road. A celebration of Katie’s life will follow at 11 am in the Greendale M.B. Church.
The family thanks Dr. D. Voth and Dr. M. Struwig, the staff at Chilliwack Lifestyles, the Home Care staff and staff at Heritage Village for their compassionate care during Katie’s illness.
