DURANT ~ Katharina (Kay)
Kay Durant passed away peacefully at the Cottage Pavilion Nursing Home on Friday, December 23, 2008 at the age of 86, and has gone home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She was born near Warman, SK in 1922 to parents Abraham and Sarah Giesbrecht. She is survived by her husband Ken and sons Barrie (Thelma) and Dale and Paul who was deceased in 2005 at the age of 55. Also left to mourn are two granddaughters and five great grandchildren, all living locally. Our family expresses their gratitude to the staff of the Cottage for their loving care and many acts of kindness shown to Kay during her seven years of residence. A celebration of Kay's life will be held at the Clearbrook M.B. Church, 2719 Clearbrook Rd., Abbotsford early in the New Year. If desired donations may be made to Gideons International.
