Joyce S. Greer passed away suddenly on March 12, 2004 surrounded by her family at MSA Hospital, Abbotsford, BC. She was born on January 19, 1926 in Nipawin, SA.
She is lovingly remembered by Len, her dear husband of 58 years, daughter
Susan Redford (Don), son Bill Greer both of Burnaby and grandson Tyler. She will also be missed by sister Joan Delehay of Abbotsford, stepbrother LeRoy Hitchcock (Blanche) of Saskatchewan and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
She was predeceased by her parents Dorothy and Leslie and her brothers Harry and Jack.
Joyce had a lifelong interest in politics. She ran the constituent office for MP Alex Patterson for many years. Her hobbies included local and federal politics, golfing, coin collecting, gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation prior to the service, at Henderson's Fraser Valley Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road (at Sumas) Abbotsford, BC.
Interment at Hazelwood Cemetery.
