John William. Born April 15th, 1920, passed away peacefully in his sleep March 3rd, 2006 following a brief illness. John was a hardworking man, loving husband, devoted father, proud grandfather, and new a great grandfather. Born in Haney, BC, John spent the most of his years in Abbotsford with his beloved wife, Ragnhild. They recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. He is survived by Ragnhild and children Leah (Kelly) and Eric (Donna), their grandchildren, Tara (Clayton), Michael, Alina, Colleen, Danny and David, and their great-grandson Trenton. He is predeceased by his first son David. Of his six siblings; Aeneid, Eileen, Pat, Dave, Hilton and Bill; John is survived by the youngest Bill.
John was a loyal employee of BC Hydro for 20 years; a hard working and strong union supporter. In his retirement years, he spent a great deal of time gardening and visiting with family; two of his favorite pastimes. He will be greatly missed by all of us.

Service will be held Friday, March 10th, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice.
