Suddenly on Saturday, June 12, our loving husband, father and grandfather was stricken with a brain hemorrhage and died peacefully in the arms of his wife, Anne and daughters Joanne Brown (Mapel, Ont.) and Karen Koster (Abbotsford). His three grandsons, Jeff an David Koster and Greg Brown will miss his kind gentle spirit, his interest in all their projects and sports, but most of all his Christmas morning treasure hunts! He will be sadly missed by his sons-in-law, Harold Koster and Stephen Brown, his brother William Ratz and sister Ruth Morrow and their families (Ontario), as well as his many friends. John's passing is a huge loss to our family, but we are so thankful his Lord took him to his heavenly home without endured suffering. A private family funeral was held this week.
