It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John (Hans) Rempel on December 6, 2018, at the Residences at Clayton Heights.
He will be missed by family and friends. John was born January 21, 1936, in Einlage, Ukraine. He and his three siblings, Anne, Henry and Dave and mother Anna arrived in Mission as refugees, December 10, 1949.
Since February 2012 John was institutionalized at George Derby, Oceanside, and Clayton Heights with demensia.
John is predeceased by mother Anna, 1998, and father Johann, 1945. He is survived by his children John (Theresa) Rempel, JoAnne (Tim) Teichrob and Jamie and grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life, will be held on December 17th, at 10 am at the Valley View Funeral Home, 14644 72nd Avenue in Surrey, BC.
