John Garrick Budgen
1932 ~ 2017
Garry passed away peacefully in Mission, BC on March 18th. Garry grew up in Port Moody, working at the cedar mill before entering the Airforce. He lived and was a letter carrier in Abbotsford for much of his career, later retiring to Mission. He was a devoted husband and father. Many fond family memories were made with Garry at the Bugden cabin on Hatzic Lake. He was predeceased by his wife Helen (nee Butcher). He is survived by his children Fred (Darlene), Ann (Chris), and Jennifer (Rob), his grandchildren Amanda (Rob) and Ian, his great grandchild Charlotte, and his siblings Brian, Peter (Linda), Richard (Anita), and Jane (Dave). A celebration of Garry’s life will be held in July in Port Moody. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation in Garry’s memory to the charity of your choice.
