John passed away peacefully in his 79th year surrounded by his family after battling a lengthy illness. Survived by loving wife Ruth of 57 years, Michael, Mary and Katharine: Jeff, Terry, Jessi, Jenai, Mathu and sister Helen. John will be missed by his extended family and his large circle of friends made over his lifetime. Memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, May 29th, 2 p.m. at The Rancho, 35110 Delair Rd., Abbotsford, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
