BARTSCH, John
Born December 24, 1930 in Saskatchewan entered into rest following a rare determination and will to live with Melanoma Cancer. He passed away peacefully with Integrity and Dignity on September 24, 2009. He is predeceased by 4 sisters and 2 brothers. John is survived by the love of his life of 55 years, Anne; children Emily (Ken), Shirley (Tony), Gary (Jacqueline), Elsie (Dave), Vic (Patricia) and Lucy( Les); 19 grandchildren Caran (Nathan), Chris (Karen), Melissa, Jelayne, Crystal
(Marcus), Dustin (Karina), Jennifer, Chad, Vanessa (Rob), Carrie, Denae, Raisa, Dyllan, Josh, Jessica, Caleb, Jenessa, Cheyanne and Joseph; 4 great-grandchildren Ayvan, Austin, Mattea and Ty; Three sisters, Helen, Betty and Tina (John) as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends. John was hard working and selfless, a dedicated family man who would do what he could for anyone and his hands were a gift that could fix or construct almost anything. John defied medical professionals and will be forever missed and cherished by all who knew him. A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Personal Alternative Funeral Services, 3070 – 275A Street, Aldergrove. A Celebration of John’s Life will be held on Wednesday, September 30 at 1:00 p.m. at the Grace Evangelical Church, 2087 McMillan Road. In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory may be made to the Cascade Hospice in Chilliwack.
