John Alec Townend, born September 14, 1930, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at Christine Morrison Hospice, Mission, BC at the age of 75 years. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife Iris; two stepsons Darrell (Jeannette) and Richard (Ginny) Schaber; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother Chuck Townend.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at North Valley Baptist Church, 32715 Cherry Avenue, Mission, BC.
