John Albert “Jack”, passed away suddenly at his home in Mission, BC on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005, aged 85 years. Jack is survived by Edna, his loving wife of 60 years. He leaves, also, his daughters, Marlene and her husband Jack Wilkinson and Beverly Danchuk; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his extended family and many dear friends. A proud veteran, Jack served his country in wartime with the Royal Canadian Navy. He was active in the Royal Canadian Legion for many years. After his military service, Jack eventually worked until his retirement for the Burnaby School Board.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 3, at the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. #57, at 32627 Logan Ave., in Mission, BC. For those desiring, donations made in Jack’s memory, to the BC & Yukon Heart & Stroke Foundation would be most appreciated.
