BROUWER; Johanna
Johanna Brouwer was born in Staphorst, Holland, August 30th, 1927. She passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord May 29th, 2016 with her family by her side. Mom had a strong quiet faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, she loved classical music and hymns. She was predeceased by her husband Neil Brouwer and her brother John Mulder. She is survived by her children, Jerry (Margaret), Janice, Art (Colleen), Joyce (Chris), precious grandchildren, Jason, Devin, Sahara, Megan, Ben (Celia), Brandi, Sean, Devon (Cheyenne). Mom will be remembered for her kind, generous yet feisty spirit and her quick wit. She had a contagious smile, a twinkle in her eye and great love for her children and grandchildren. We will miss her cooking and her infamous "Gramma buns". Mom will always remain in our hearts and will be dearly missed. All are invited to attend a Celebration of Johanna's life at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 3rd, 2016 at the Living Hope Church, 34631 Old Clayburn Road, in Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Johanna may be made to World Vision Canada. There will be a private family graveside service held the morning of the Celebration.
