Jerry passed away after a short hospital stay for kidney-related complications.
He moved from Saskatchewan in 1956 and worked as a Federal Corrections accountant for 29 years. He was kind, quiet and strong, and had an easy sense of humour. He had a passion for numbers and governance, and enjoyed playing and watching curling, ball and hockey.
He was dearly loved by his family and friends and is survived by his wife of 62 years, Shelia; daughters Candice and Cheryl (Martin); and granddaughter Nola. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada and Sweden. He will be greatly missed.
Donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada. No service at this time.
