Jenny Helene
Jenny went home to be with her Lord on January 18, 2005 at the age of 92.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law: Hedwig Doering of Abbotsford, and Mary Doering of Oliver, BC; by her nieces: Adella Doering of Qualicum Beach, BC, Erika Doering of Abbotsford, Lois Nugent of Mississauga, Ont., Verginia Theisse of Apple Valley, Min., Arlene Lindner of Surrey, BC, Frances Kayban of Kelowna, BC; and by her nephews: Donald Doering of Okanogan, Wash., Rex Doering of Abbotsford, Mark Doering of Abbotsford, Gordon Doering of Lilydale, Min., and Ralph Leipert of Chilliwack, BC and all their families.
She was predeceased by her parents: Adeline and Leopold Doering, brothers: Edmund, Erwin, Alexander, and Felix, and sisters: Irma Doering and Elsie Leipert.
Helene Noble graduated from nursing in 1935 at the Edmonton General Hospital. She lived her early years in Leduc, Alberta and Leader, Sask. She later lived in Vancouver, Chilliwack and Abbotsford.
She was devout in her Christian belief, and was faithfully visited by the minister Dr. Hans Kouwenberg and members of her church: Calvin Presbyterian, from whom she received great comfort.
She passed away peacefully at the Eben-Ezer Senior Home, Abbotsford. Her niece, Erika Doering, was lovingly at her bedside during the last days. Helene Noble will be remembered as a warm, caring person, she will be missed by her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 21, 2005 at
2:00 pm at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 2597 Bourquin Crescent East, Abbotsford. Reception to follow interment.
