Jeanette passed away peacefully to be with her Lord on Monday, December 17, 2018 at Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission, BC at the age of 65 with her husband and family at her side.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years Gene Chartier, her sons Kevin Chartier (Amber) and Duane Chartier, as well as 3 grandchildren Dawson, Colby and Cambria, mother Ann Bandsma and her three brothers Ken Bandsma, Alan Bandsma and Stan Bandsma.
Jeanette was predeceased by her father Sam Bandsma and her sister Diane Catherral.
Jeanette was born in Vancouver, BC, the first child of Sam and Ann Bandsma on December 27, 1952. She was married to Gene Chartier in 1973 and together lived mostly in the BC Lower Mainland.
Jeanette worked in various roles as a bookkeeper and office administrator at Cochran & Walker, CCON Metals Inc. and Chartier Accounting Inc. Jeanette spent her life speaking into the lives of others and being a loving friend to many people.
A celebration of the life of Jeanette will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly at 1 pm, 3145 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford, BC with a reception to follow. Online condolences to the family may be made at wordsforjeanette@gmail.com.
