JEAN BLYTH IRWIN

Jean Blyth Irwin, January 6, 1920 - February 28, 2004, of Abbotsford.

Jean was born in Drumheller, AB, to Jane and Charles Peebles.

The family soon moved to Merritt, B.C. Jean grew up in Merritt, Canford, Iago and Sullivan (in Surrey). She married William (Allan) Irwin of Binscarth, Man. in Vancouver on June 21, 1943. Three sons were born in Vancouver and the family moved to Mission, just in time for the 1948 flood. Son John and daughter Jeannie were born in Mission, Jean and Allan lived on Nelson Road until 1985, when they moved to Abbotsford, Jean was predeceased by her husband in 1986 and by brothers Morris and Bob.

She is survived by sisters Margaret Harding, Mary Bigford, Ruth (Eric) Goodfellow and brother Jack. She is also survived by sons Robin (Diane), Ross (Laura), Allan (Cindy) and John (Karen) and daughter Jeannie (Larry); 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Serivce will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 30635 Blueridge Drive, Abbotsford, on March 6 at 1:00 p.m.
