Janet Collens-Davies

June 14, 1962 - December 18, 2019
It is with a heavy heart we say goodbye to our mother, wife and friend.
Janet was born in Abbotsford, BC to Milton and June Collens. She was an active swimmer in her early years and went on to be heavily involved with Jobs Daughters becoming Honored Queen. Janet became a bookkeeper after graduation. Her working career was with MSA Hospital, Remple Trailer, Protel Communications, Multiliner and Chet Construction. Janet's real passion was event and wedding planning and she went on and started her own company Turn of Events.
On the afternoon of December 18 Janet lay down and passed away very peacefully in her sleep. She leaves to mourn her husband Bill Davies, sons Shane and Todd Monkman, step daughter Maxine Davies, brother Lee Collens, and sisters Carol Richard and Joy Cunningham. She was predeceased by her parents, sister Marie and brother Rob.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Eagles Hall, 33868 Essendene Ave., Abbotsford, BC on March 29 at 1:00 pm. The family welcomes you to share stories of love and laughter. In lieu of flowers we ask a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
