James Tweedie Dalgleish, formerly of Flin Flon, Manitoba passed away peacefully in Abbotsford, BC on Sunday, August 17, 2008 at the age of 78.

Jim leaves to mourn him his loving wife Shirley Dalgleish, his brother Bob (Erva) Dalgleish of Grandview, Man., his son Donald (Diane) Dalgleish of Edmonton, AB, daughters Naomi (Dave) Boychuk of Fort McMurray, AB, Marilynn (Barry) Gray of Saskatoon, SK, and Maryanne (Gerald) Dalgleish Davis of Camrose, AB, stepchildren Robert Miller of Vancouver, BC and Penny (Jim) Lickley of Winnipeg, Man. as well as 8 grand children, 3 step grand children and 4 great grand children. His first wife Cecelia Irene and his eldest son Robert James Stuart predeceased Jim.

Jim was born in Grandview on October 17, 1929. He moved from Grandview to Flin Flon when he was 18 years old, where he worked for Hudson Bay Mining & Smelting Co. Ltd. (HBM&S) for 40 years. He held several senior management positions with HBM&S until his retirement in 1987 as Mechanical Superintendent.

Family and friends are invited to attend a service of remembrance at 1:00 PM August 30, 2008 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Abbotsford, BC located at 2310 Clearbrook Road.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of James Tweedie Dalgleish to the Gizeh Shriners of BC & Yukon (children's hospital transportation fund), 3550 Wayburne Drive, Burnaby, BC V5G. Written or verbal tributes may be left in memory of James Tweedie Dalgleish at www.mem.com
