Jim Edwin Nelson was born on March 14, 1930 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He passed away peacefully on April 21, 2006 in Mission, B.C. at the age of 76. Jim was predeceased by his parents Jack and Kitty; his wife Marjorie and one daughter Cheri Darlene; 2 brothers, Jack and Glenn; and 2 sisters, Kay and Rae. He leaves to mourn his 4 children, Lori (Dudley) Clease, Karen (Dale) Vinnish, Jamie (Becky) Nelson, and Patti (Simon) Harris; 9 grandchildren, Cheri-Ann, Stephen, Daniel, Corinna, Brittany, Ben, Greg, Megan and Alexis; his sister Ann of Prince Albert and his brother Donald of Calgary; his sister-in-law Dorothy and brothers-in-law Scott, Howard and Norman; numerous nieces and nephews and his adopted Âfamily at Pleasantview Care Home where he resided for the past 7 yrs.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2006 at 1:00 pm at the Cedar Valley Mennonite Church 32840 Janzen Avenue, Mission.
