James Fraser, late of Abbotsford passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009 at the Abbotsford Hospital. James was 86. He is survived by his loving wife Cathy, children; Blair, Gayle (Greg), Barb (Russ), Rod (Maria), Cheryl, Dan (Lisa), 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. James was a downtown Abbotsford merchant for decades and enjoyed his retired years with Cathy, living in Barriere, B.C. Although gone, his spirit and memories will be ever present at the family cabin on N. Barriere Lake. A viewing will be held on Sunday, Oct. 4 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Hendersons Funeral Home in Abbotsford. Funeral service and reception are at St. Ann's Parish, 33333 Mayfair Ave., Abbotsford on Monday, Oct. 5 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations could be made to the Parkinson Society of British Columbia, #600-890 W.
