Isabella Heywood (nee Wallace)
Born on May 20, 1914 in Edinburgh, Scotland, Ella met the love of her life, John in 1942 during WWll. After a very brief courtship, they married on March 29, 1943. John was returned to Abbotsford where Ella joined him on their small farm on Mt. Lehman Road after giving birth to their first daughter Patricia (Colin) in 1946. It wasn't an easy life for Ella, but she worked hard and gave birth to another daughter, Elizabeth Ann (Dave) and a son, Douglas (Charlotte).
On January 31st, 2008, John passed from brain cancer, Ella's love for John was so great that she could not continue to live without him. On March 9th 2008, Ella passed peacefully, at home, with her daughters and son beside her.
