Hubert Judson Burns was born in Kelfield, Saskatchewan on May 4, 1923 and raised in a family of thirteen children. He slipped away peacefully on June 12, 2007 at Mission Memorial Hospital in Mission, B.C.
Hughie was predeceased by his son Don. He is survived by Dorothy, his loving wife of 63 years, his sisters Louella and Iona, his brother Bob, sons Alan (Sally), Dave (Pat), Phil (Lois) and Kent (Helena), grandchildren David, James (Nadia), Michael, Christopher, Kevin, Christopher, Alec and Grace, Bo (Alanna) and great-granddaughter Mia, and his many loving nieces and nephews. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends stretching from BC to Saskatchewan and beyond. Always.
A service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 1 PM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 27123 River Road, Maple Ridge, (Whonnock), B.C.Â
