Hilda Friesen passed away peacefully on October 27, 2002 at the age of 77 years. She was predeceasd by her loving family; husband Omar, 5 children Gaye and husband Walter Toews, Terry and wife Lis Friesen, Han Anderson, Chris and husband Wayne Friesen, Carla and husband Ron Kamps; by 10 granchildren, Stephanie and husband Jonathon Watkin and Christa Towes, Rachel and husband Keith Dyck and Andrew Friesen, Joshua and wife Wendy Friesen, Matt and wife Sarah Friesen; Holly Jamie, Carly and Kristin Kamps. Also by 2 great grandsons Nathan and Chad Dyck, 2 sisters Martha Schultz and Tillie Abrams; 4 brothers Harry, Dave, Bill and Leonard Boldt.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 1 at 2:30 p.m., in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of B.C. in her memory.
