CLARKE
Hilda Grace Clarke passed away on September 27th 2010 at Abbotsford Regional Hospital. Hilda was predeceased by her son Ken Clarke, parents Carl and May Nelson, brother Arvid Nelson, sisters Freda Murray and Marg Schmidt. Hilda will be lovingly remembered by daughters Debbie (Herman) Verbeek, Judy Walker, Kim (Jay) Clarke, son Dan Clarke, 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, her sister Mary Strangward and brother Lloyd (Ginny) Nelson as well as numerous nieces and nephews and her friend Hans. Hilda touched many lives over the years and was always willing to lend a hand or a bit of advice to someone in need. A celebration of Hilda’s will be held on October 13, 2010 at 11:00am at the Matsqui Community Hall, 33676 St.Olaf Ave, Matsqui Village. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to COPD Canada in Hilda’s name. We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and student nurses who attended to Mom’s care. It was a great comfort to know that she was in such good hands for the times we couldn’t be there.
