Born March 23, 1929 in Coaldale, Alberta, passed away peacefully to be with his Lord June 30, 2016 in Abbotsford aged 87 years. He is survived by his loving family; Elizabeth his wife of 54 years; daughters Lori Esau (Jake) and Shari Heinrichs (Gerald); grandchildren Tyler (Karalyn) Esau, Joshua (Celeste) Esau, Trevor (Alexa) Esau, Deanna Esau, Alyssa (Dallas) Dekoff, Carly (Tanner) Redekop, Jocelyn Heinrichs and Riley Heinrichs; great grandchildren River Dekoff and Scout Redekop; sister Elvira Dueck; his brothers Rudy (Heidi) and Arnold (Hannah) and many other relatives and friends. There will be a viewing Wednesday, July 6 between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm at Ross Road Community Church, 3160 Ross Road, Abbotsford. The burial will take place Thursday, July 7 at 9:30 am at Maclure Road Cemetery, followed by the memorial service at 11:00 am at Ross Road Community Church.
