Henry Defehr Peters died on April 3, 2007 with family at his side. He was born June 21, 1913 to David and Maria Peters in Russia. When Henry was ten his family immigrated to Canada and settled in Alberta. Henry married Louise (Friesen) in 1940 and they moved to BC and were able to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary in Abbotsford, BC. Louise died in December 2002.
Henry demonstrated a deep appreciation for scripture and a love for God. His prayers for his family will be dearly missed.
He is mourned by his son Ron (Isobel), daughter Doreen (Hank Wiebe), son Roy (Debbie), son Rick Terry (Wendy) and son Stan; also 11 grandchildren: Scott, Sean, David, Colleen, Janice, Brian, Donny, Gordon, Leah, Laura and Neil and seven great grandchildren. Henry is also survived by his brother Val (Margaret).
The burial is at 10:00 am and the memorial service is on April 16, 11:30 am at Woodlawn Funeral Home.
