Also 27 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Mom was born in a Finnish settlement 10 miles from Rocky Mtn. House, Alberta to Charles & Hilma Wayman. She had two sisters Martha Whalen, Vivian Barbee and one brother, Walfred Wayman. All predeceased Mom.

Mom graduated then met and married our father in 1934. The family moved to Terrace in 1951 and mom worked as a bookkeeper in the retail business until their move to Abbotsford in 1972.

Mother was very active all her life. She loved music and was in the choir in the Anglican Church in Rocky.

While in Terrace she became an avid curler and was the first president of the then new curling club.

After moving to Abbotsford Mom gave up curling and took up bowling and was very involved in the OAPA for 21 years she was the treasurer and also looked after the Thursday and Friday dances.

In her 90th year she went to live at Menno Home and from there she went to be reunited with her family.

We wish to thank all the nursing staff and care givers who were so understanding and patient with our loved one. We appreciate it very much.
