Our Lord and Saviour took unto Himself Grietje Vander Schaaf. Predeceased by her husband Jacob, March 15, 2004 and son-in-law Fred Euverman in 2003. Mom to; Clarence and Jane, Smithers, BC, Ray and Rose, Grand Prairie, AB, Hendrik and Alie, Duncan, BC, Johanna and Hank, Sunnyside, Washington, Angie and Harold, Abbotsford, BC, Joyce and Fred (deceased) Smithers, BC, Anna and Dick, Abbotsford, BC, and Ralph and Audrey, Duncan, BC. Beppe to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Grietje was born in The Netherlands, immigrated to the Bulkley Valley in 1951 and enjoyed retirement in Duncan and Abbotsford, BC.
Funeral Service was held on Thursday, November 3, 2005 in Emmanuel Free Reformed Church with interment at Hazelwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Pacific Area, 360 — 1385 West 8 Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6H 3V9
