Gordon William, late of Mission BC, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2008, at the age of 69. Predeceased by his brother, Donald Martin and son Fredrick (Ricky) John Parkinson.
Born March 23, 1938 in Wapella, Saskatchewan, Gordon is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, sisters, Bessie (Richard) Drake, Ann Winnifred Bush, and youngest sister Linda Martin.
Lovingly remembered by his children Marnie (Vince) Saparamadu, Susan (Randy) Doyle, Laurie (Len) Loran, Tracy (Tony) Sardinha, Ron (Conor) McLaughlin, Marc (Deidra) Gendron, Clinton Frye, Grant Frye, and youngest sons Gordon William Jr. and Christopher (Jaymie).
"Pappa" will be sadly missed by his 20 grandchildren and his 5 great grandchildren, as well as countless nieces and nephews.
A man of strong family values, and unwavering commitment to his friends, Gordon will be remembered fondly by all who were touched by his generosity, his humour, and his love.
Memorial service at the One Way Club, 22270 North Ave, Maple Ridge, BC at 2:00 pm, Friday February, 1, 2008.
Boo, Rifleman, Bammer, Baby, Princess, Ry-Guy and Rachee-Mae, will all miss their "Papa toot-toot".
