November 30, 2019
Gloria Beilard passed away November 30th, 2019. She leaves behind her children; Patricia, Paul and Peter; grandson, Dax; son-in-law, Arthur, and Peter's partner, Pinky. Gloria settled in Jasper National Park, AB where she met her late husband, Werner. She ran a successful B&B for several years, meeting people from all over the world. She also had an artsy side - a talented seamstress and embroiderer. Every summer the family would load up the car with camping gear and head to the Abbotsford International Airshow, so it was no surprise that she ended up retiring in Abbotsford. Mom taught us the true meaning of patience, forgiveness, courage and strength. She had a powerful soul. She had been in extended care for almost 13 years at the Worthington Pavilion. We would like to thank the Worthington family for taking care of mom with such compassion and dignity. She had a good sense of humour, she appreciated Arthur's puns, much to our chagrin. HGTV was one of her favourite stations, she became a renovation expert over the years. It is so hard to say good-bye; we love you so much and are grateful for all of the blessings you have brought into our lives. Thank-you for being a wonderful mother you are in our hearts forever. The family will have a private gathering at a later date.
