Glad passed away on May 23, 2008 at the Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission.

She is survived by her daughter Bev of Vancouver, her former husband, Charlie of Burnaby, her aunts, Alvera Paterson of Kelowna and Mavis Stainer of Ainsworth, B.C. and many cousins. Glad was born on June 7, 1924, in Enderby, B.C. and was raised in Sicamous and Nakusp. She lived in Vancouver for many years and moved to Abbotsford after her retirement. Glad will be missed by her family, her childhood friend and travel compansion, Pam MacLean of Kamloops, her Russell & DuMoulin lunch group and many friends and neighbours.

A memorial tea will be held on Saturday, June 7 at 1:30 p.m. at Crown Point, 1450 McCallum Road, Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
