Geroge passed away suddenly February 1st at MSA Hospital, after a brief illness.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joephine, sons John, Pete, Steve and daughter Virginia, daughter-in-law Zena, grandchildren; Ann-Marie, Phillip, Ashley and her fiance Bob and Danielle, great-granddaughter Christina. His sister Ivy in England, as well as his beloved mother-in-law and numerous relatives in England, Canada and the USA.
George was born in Hammersmith in London, England "A true cockney". Dad spent his childhood in Dr. Barnado's Orphanage.
He served as a rear gunner with the RAF during WW11. He immigrated to Canada in 1966 with his family. Dad will be missed by his many friends all of who loved him. His dry British humour was enjoyed by everyone who knew him. Dad loved Brentford and Manchester United Football Clubs.
We thank all the people who looked after Dad during his week in MSA Hospital.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Personal Alternative Funeral Services, 3070 - 275A Street, Aldergrove. Bishop Gerard LaPlante officiating. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
