It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fred Keown on Friday, December 17, 2004.
He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Marj in January 2004, as well as by many brothers and sisters. Fred is survived by three daughters, Gail (Ted) of Calgary, Alberta, Brenda (Bob), Lavaine (Frank), and son Jay (Wendy) all of Mission, BC. He will be missed by his 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons. He is also survived by his brother Howard of Souris, Manitoba.
We would like to say a HUGE thank you to Steve and Laura, the palliative nurses, and Joan, our home support worker. We couldn’t have done it without you. There will be no service by his request. If desired, donations in Fred’s memory may be made to the BC Lung Association.
