Born in Wernersdorf, Molotschna, Ukraine, Frank passed away peacefully to be with the Lord after a brief, unexpected struggle with cancer at age 78. He is lovingly survived by his wife of 52 years, Helen Peters, and his six children, Martha (Ken) Stewart, Lydia (Valter) Warkentim, Louise (Heinz) Duck, David Peters, Danny (Cindy Sue) Peters, and Esther (Stan) Gubiotti. He leaves a great spiritual heritage to his 15 grandchildren, who will forever cherish memories of their Opa. Frank found great joy in serving the Lord, which he did in Brazil for 32 years as a missionary, and as a pastor at King Road MB Church for 3 years and associate pastor at Culloden MB Church for 6 years.
In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully acknowledges donations in honour of Frank's great passion to teach others to follow Christ through Logos Canada (www.logoscanada.org).
A memorial service will be held Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, at King Road MB Church at 2:30 pm, with a reception to follow.
