1914 ~ 2006
Passed away peacefully Saturday, November 4, 2006 at Pleasant View Care Home in her 93rd year. Florence was predeceased by her parents, 6 brothers, 5 Âsisters, their spouses and in 1996 her husband of 62 years, Walter. She leaves to mourn her six children Don (Joan), Larry (Olive), Elaine (Doug), Gloria, Bill (Lesa) and Randy; 12 grandchildren and their spouses, 18 great-grandchildren and spouses; and 1 great great-granddaughter. Florence was born in Cadott, Wisconsin, USA April 5, 1914, later moving to Saskatchewan where she met and married Walter. They moved to Dewdney in 1942, Mission in 1944, Silverdale in 1947 and returning to Stave Lake and 7th in 1988.
We wish to thank Dr. P. Finch and all the personnel at Pleasant View for their loving care and support. Funeral services and tea to be held on Friday, November 10, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 32402-7th Avenue, Mission, BC. Interment to follow at Hatzic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Pleasant View Housing Society would be greatly appreciated.
