Eva Irene Parker of Mission, BC, passed away peacefully at Grand Street Lodge on Friday, January 27, 2006 in her 100th year. Eva was born in Miami, Manitoba on July 5, 1906, the youngest child of Jacob and Mary George. She was predeceased by her loving husband Emil in 1993; her grandson Colin in 2004; her parents, four sisters, and three brothers. She is survived by her sons Ralph and Ted Parker and their families; her daughter Karen Giffin in Brazil; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends scattered across the Prairies.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2006 at 3:00 pm at Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home, 7386 Horne Street, Mission, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eva’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
