Eva passed away in Cottage Hospital September 3rd, 2004 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mom was born Eva Krause on May 20th, 1920 in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. the family moved to the Ridgedale area where Eva spent her youth. She met and married Paul Crape in 1940 and they farmed in the Ridgedale area for many years. Eva was a wonderful mother and talented crafts person and homemaker. She left a legacy of many beautiful ceramic and handwork creations and was lately embarking on tole painting as the latest outlet for her creativity. She enjoyed her home and garden, her walks and her friends to the fullest until she became ill.
Eva lost her husband Paul very suddenly in 1996 but carried on bravely with a full and rich life. She was predeceased by her brother Karl and is survived by her daughter Verna (Robert) and brother Ben of Little Fort, B.C.
