VAN LAARE, Esther G. (nee Fesser), born in MacKinson Landing, BC on May 28, 1916, passed on to be with the Lord on June 16, 2008. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Jacob; son, Murray (Terri); daughter, Lois (Stuart); granddaughters, Tammy (Jesse) and Becky; great grandchildren, Jaxon and Kameron: her nieces and nephews and dear friends. She was predeceased by her brother and four sisters.
Esther served in the R.C.A.F. during WW II, then settled in Vancouver and married Jacob, her husband of 60 years. Family and friends were gifted with her talents as an artist and a seamstress, and her quiet spirit caring for her children, granddaughters and great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at Woodlawn Chapel on June 23rd at 12:30pm followed by a Graveside Committal at Hazelwood Cemetery, 34070 Hazelwood Ave., Abbotsford, BC.
