Esther, born January 15, 1915, peacefully passed into the arms of the Lord in the early morning hours of Sunday, May 7, 2006.
Esther was predeceased by her first husband Jacob Adrian and her second husband Isaac Redekop.
She will be remembered with love and sadly missed by her surviving 4 daughters, Elaine (Ernie) Standbridge, Joyce Tataryn, Deanna (Richard) Thiessen, Ruby (Jim) Marsh and her son Henry Adrian, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; 3 step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother Wm. Herb (Tina) Friesen, Abbotsford, BC, and one sister Evangeline Urquhart in St. Catherines, Ontario, one sister-in-law Margaret Friesen, Abbotsford as well as many nieces and Ânephews.
Esther worked for Woodward's in both New Westminster and Vancouver until their closure and moved to Abbotsford in 1974 where she worked as a care aid at the Menno Home until retiring at age 69.
A special thank you from the family to all the staff at MSA Manor in Abbotsford for the TLC and comfort they provided Mom.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Central Heights Church, 1161 McCallum Rd., Abbotsfod, BC. Cremation to follow.
