April 17, 1949 - June 2, 2010
Erv Doerksen was suddenly taken away from us doing the job he loved. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Deloris, son Peter (Sherena), daughter Andrea (Paul), grandkids Jada, Alexa and Kohen, his mother Helen, sisters Laurena (Dave) and Valerie (Henry) along with many other family and friends.
He was a good man who loved God and touched every life he came into contact with. Even though his life was cut too short, it was a very full one. Born in Brooks, Alberta, he and his family moved to St. Catharine's, Ontario where he grew up. After graduating high school he had many different and varied jobs across Canada.
After marrying Deloris in 1978, they settled in Abbotsford where they raised their family and watched it grow. He was a very proud and doting grandpa and told everyone he met just so.
Deloris and family would like to thank Jay Campbell and Scamp Industries for all their help and support during this time of sorrow.
A memorial will be held on Tuesday, June 8 at 11:00am at Northview Community Church, 32040 Downes Road, Abbotsford, BC.
