JONES, Ernest Hugh Gerald, passed away in Langley Memorial Hospital on August 25, 2008. Hugh was born prematurely during a blizzard at the
Furiak home south of Kamloops, on Dec. 22, 1925. He was predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Rebecca Jones. He is survived by his wife, Ruby May and his four sons, Gerry and his wife Rose, Jim and Joan, Ken and Pennie and Don and Ann; eight grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, his great-grandchildren and his sister Mabel Phillips and her family. He was a resident of Knutsford, B.C. from his birth until 1929, Sumas Prairie until 1952 and then here in Aldergrove, from 1952 to 2008. He was a 33 year employee of Otter Co-op. Hugh's remains will be cremated and a memorial gathering will be announced at a later date. For those desiring, donations made in his memory to a charity of your own choosing would be most appreciated.
