HENDY, Ernest William
Late of Abbotsford, B.C. passed away on Dec. 2, 2010 at the age of 64 at Christine Morrison Hospice, Mission B.C. Survived by sister Terry Kussmann and brother-in-law Tino Kussmann of Burnaby, B.C. Predeceased by parents Leslie George and Sadie Kathleen Hendy. After working for 40 years, including 30 years of service in what is now known as the Canada Bread Company, Ernie retired in 2006 to enjoy life ``his way``. Ernie was a private,quiet, gentle yet strong, generous and kind man, who was a loyal friend to many. While he had no children, he was a loving ``Uncle`` to several of his friends` children & grandchildren, who will sorely miss him. He loved fishing, hunting & the outdoors, especially Tunkwa Lake and a special place on Greenstone Mountain, where he will be laid to rest. A memorial service may be held at a later date. In the meantime, remember his good deeds and kindnesses. Donations if desired, may be made to the Cancer Society of B C or the Charity of your choice.
