It is with much love and sadness that we say good-bye to our mom, Erika. She was predeceased by her husband Peter, brother Siegfried and son Jake. She will be remembered fondly by her children Ted, Reinold, Careen, Inge, Pete, Martha, Lena and John and by her many grandchildren, and her surviving sisters, Dorothea and Hannah who reside in Germany. Our mom was born in Germany, survived WWII in Berlin and was later educated as a nurse. She married our father in 1958, and lived in B.C. for the last 51 years. She was a very hardworking and dedicated mother, with a special love for gardening and music. She was very spiritual and had a close relationship with her Lord. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at MSA Manor and nurses at Abbotsford Regional Hospital for their loving care. Please join us for a memorial service on Friday, August 21 at 11:00am at Abbotsford Seventh-Day Adventist church, 1921 Griffiths Rd, Abbotsford, B.C. A reception will follow the memorial.
