Ellen passed into the presence of her Lord on June 22, 2005 at the age of 88 years. She was predeceased by her husband Oscar in 1990. She is survived by her loving family; daughter Ann and husband Al Karleen, son Carl and wife Elizabeth (Wiffy) Erickson; 4 grandchildren Darryl and wife Jill Karleen, Adrian and wife Sheila Karleen, Shawn and wife Kristin Erickson and Ryan Erickson; 7 great grandchildren Dylan, Charlotte, Tyler, Justin, Kyle, Miranda and Braden. She is also survived by sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews in Finland and Sweden. A graveside committal service will be held on Tuesday, June 28 at 11:00 a.m. in Hazelwood Cemetery, followed by a celebration of her life at 1:00 p.m. in Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly, 3145 Gladwin Rd, Abbotsford, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly Missions.
