Einar HOYDAL

Einar passed away with his wife Pat at his side on November 16, 2006. Born in Seljord, Norway, February 9, 1932, Einar emigrated to Canada in 1955. He worked as a Forestry Technician for the forest service as well as private companies. Einar was predeceased by his parents, Hans and Anne; his brothers, Olaus, Torvald, Sverre, Hans and Carl as well as one sister, Sigrid. He will be remembered with love and respect by all who knew him, including his beloved wife of 35 years, Pat; his family from Norway, sister Aslaug; sisters-in-law, Gunvor, Eldbjorg, and Mia; niece Una and nephews Halgrim and Hans.

Special thanks to the caring staff of the Dr, A.J. Stuart Pavilion, Dr. O’Brien, and to dear friends, Gillian Hancox, and Bill and Eleanor Kullberg as well as the many friends who have been such a loving support. No service at Einar’s request. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to either the A.J. Stuart Pavilion E.C.U. Mission Memorial Hospital, 7324 Hurd Street, Mission, BC V2V 3H5 or to the ALS Society of BC, #208 – 1600 W 5th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6J 1R3 in memory of Einar.
