Eileen Corrie “Mimi”

Passed away peacefully on August 10, 2004 at Maplewood House. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Howard, infant son Bobbie and brother Bert Hendy. Eileen is survived by her loving daughter Jacqueline Corrie (Rebagliati), and sister Doris Currie.

Mimi will be sadly missed by grandchildren Randy (Val) Rebagliati, Karen (Tom) Brown and John (Nyree) Rebagliati and greatgrandchildren Lauren, Jacqueline and Trent Brown, Nick, Brady and Corey Rebagliati and Jordan and Kaitlyn Rebagliati. She will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Throughout the years, Eileen had a variety of interests including mahjong, crosswords, reading, playing the piano and in later years, "bridge with the ladies". Howard and Eileen enjoyed a close, loving marriage of 55 years until Howard's passing in 1988. In retirement years, they shared a special interest in fine antiques and an occasional trip south in the winter. Summer holidays were spent at Whidbey Island surrounded by family. Eileen will be remembered most for her devotion to family, shown through her gentle, loving ways.

The family would like to express its gratitude to Dr. James Pankratz and to the nurses and staff at Maplewood House for Eileen's superb care over the last four years.
