Mrs. Edna Irene Schmidt of Mission, BC passed away with her family at her side, on Monday March 29th 2010 at Abbotsford Regional Hospital, at the age of 85. Edna is survived by her husband of 63 years Anton, sons Allan (Debbie), Michael (Janet), grandchildren Paul (Nikki), Cameron (Crystal), Kent (Maureen), Leah (Dale) Arely, Chandy, Dana (Lisa), Megan, Brent and eight great grandchildren, Anton, Nelson, Lincoln, Chase, Ethan, Grace, Cole and Franklin. She is also survived by her sister Doreen Preus of Comox and predeceased by eight brothers and five sisters. A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 3rd at 2:00pm at Mount Calvary Lutheran church at 32420 7th ave, Mission, BC, with Pastor Alan Boerner officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
