Mrs. Edith Anna Schwindt, late of Abbotsford, BC, passed away on January 24, 2004 at the age of 78 years, at the Cottage in Abbotsford.
She is survived by her loving husband Lawrence Schwindt of Abbotsford, daughter Lorraine Edith (Daniel) Cisecki and grandsons Stuart and Robert Cisecki all of Calgary.
She was predeceased by her mother and father, Pauline and Frank Stark and her brother Erich in Austria.
Mom was born in Deutch Wagram, Austria on August 17, 1925. She studied Ballet in Vienna, Austria and later became a dancer with an Italian ballet that toured Italy and the Middle East. My Mom met my Dad in Tehran, Iran in 1959 where they were married. We moved to Canada in 1965 and lived in Calgary until 1986 when they retired to Abbotsford. Mom loved to watch television and gardening when she was able.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. at Henderson's Funeral Home Chapel at 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford with Rev. Connie Thompson officiating.
