Earnest “Ernie” Wendell Byggdin passed away peacefully on March 10, 2006, surrounded by his family. He was born on April 23, 1915 in Craik, SA.
He will be fondly remembered by his wife Willa, daughter Lorraine (Ron) Seale and grandchildren Robert Seale and Paula (Jonathan) Desjardins. He will also be missed by his brothers Ralph (Joyce), Wallace (Beth), his sister Lucille (Laverne) Henwood, numerous nieces and nephews, and lovingly remembered by Willa’s family.
Ernie was predeceased by his first wife Adelaine and brother Merle.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday March 14th at 2:30 pm at The Church of the Nazarene, 2390 McMillan Road, Abbotsford, BC with Pastor Elwyn Grobe officiating. Donations may be made to The Gideons in memory of Ernie.
