Dorothy passed into the presence of her Saviour Jesus Christ on April 19, 2006.
For 37 years she lived a life of service to the Lord, her family and others in Zimbabwe (Rhodesia), Africa. She is deeply loved and will be sorely missed by her husband of 56 years, Wilfred; her children Gloria (Rob) Drayton, Brenda (Dave) Killick, Lorne (Ruthann) Strom; and her grandchildren Kerry, Wendy Drayton, Cherylene (James) Voth, Angela, Matthew Killick, Ian, Holly, and Keaton Strom. Dorothy is predeceased by her infant daughter Valerie in 1956; three older Âbrothers, Gordon, Arthur and Henry Pearce and her parents Henry and Elizabeth Pearce. Dorothy was a loyal friend, an honest counsellor, a critical thinker, skilful hard worker, faithful servant of the Lord and most loving and amazing wife and mother. We are full of love and gratefulness to God for her.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 24, 2006 in Central Heights MB Church, 1661 McCallum Rd., Abbotsford, BC. For those who wish, memorial gifts may be made in Dorothy's name to TEAM.
